Finding space for high quality speakers is not always an easy task. Finding the room for traditional Hi-Fi speakers in the living room, bedroom or kids room is always a balance between performance and size. Dali, now, has the solution to this problem, with the Pico.
The Zensor Pico is an ultra compact high quality loudspeaker with a very small footprint using technologies known from the award winning Zensor series in a perfect match between woofer and cabinet volume. According to the press release, the Pico delivers astonishing detailed, coherent and full sound. Despite its small size it fills the room and delivers a surprising bass performance, Dali says. Though the Pico is about 30% smaller than the Zensor 1 in size, it is no smaller in sound. Placement close to the wall or directly on the wall is suggested for optimum performance.
Pico is a two-way design, featuring a 25mm soft dome tweeter and a 4.5-inch mid/woofer with wood fiber cone, loaded by a bass reflex cabinet. Frequency response is between 62Hz and 26.5kHz, sensitivity around 84dBSPL (2.83V/1m) and nominal impedance is 6 Ohm.
The new model is ideal for small to medium sized rooms either as a main in a 2.1 set-up or as front and back loudspeaker in combination with the -also new- Pico Vokal dialog loudspeaker in a 5.1 system.
