Denon announced the launch of their new DNP-730AE network audio player delivering nearly unlimited playback possibilities. Once connected to a stereo amplifier, the DNP-730AE opens up the world of network streaming to the consumer’s beloved Hi-Fi systems.
Thanks to the built-in Wi-Fi wireless technology, the DNP-730AE connects to the internet through your home network, opening up a world of music from internet radio stations, as well as streaming subscription service Spotify via very latest Spotify Connect scheme. With AirPlay, you can enjoy listening to your favorite tracks wirelessly from your portable iOS device, including iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. DLNA 1.5 certification lets you connect to your PC or Mac via your home network wired or wirelessly for additional streaming capabilities.
The DNP-730AE can playback nearly any digital audio format available, from a USB memory or through the network connection. The list of file types include lossy formats like MP3, WMA and AAC, but also lossless formats including ALAC, AIFF, WAV and FLAC HD (up to 24 bit, 192 kHz). Moreover, the DNP-730AE can even playback DSD files (in 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz sample rates) over DLNA streaming. Gapless playback is also available for DSD, WAV, FLAC, AIFF and ALAC files.
DNP-730AE has been fitted with PCM1795 high-precision 32-bit, 192-kHz d/a converter chips from Burr Brown, the same used in Denon's premium class CD players. Signal paths have been made thoroughly simple and straight to ensure pure sound playback. The minimization of signal paths prevents signal degradation between circuits.
For total convenience, you can connect your Apple iPod, iPod touch or iPhone to the DNP-730AE via the front panel USB port, and listen to your favorite music tracks while charging your device at the same time. Denon's Hi-Fi Remote App lets you easily control the full variety of options of the DNP-730AE, and is available for Apple and Android devices. It is already available in either black or premium silver.
