AntiCable Audio announced their new, top tier, interconnection cables the Level 6.2 Absolute Signature Analog RCA Interconnects, pairing what the company considers as the top performing RCA connectors, sourced from KLE Innovations, and the finest sounding wire with two new topology configurations.
According to the press release, the Level 6.2 interconnect brings AntiCable’s proven ACElectrum signal conductors, made from a proprietary silver and gold alloy, to discerning audio enthusiasts. By adding a small amount of gold to the mix, subjectively eliminates the sonic signature of 100% silver, which tends to sound “hard” or “forward” at high frequencies, while retaining the excellent sonic resolving properties that silver has to offer.
The new 6.2 Signature improves upon AntiCable’s existing Level 3.2, 4.2, and 5.2 Reference interconnects with even better RCA plugs, the company says. Australia’s Keith Louis Eichmann of KLE Innovations has bested himself with his Absolute Harmony RCAs. AntiCable was so impressed by the performance of the KLEI Absolute Harmony RCAs, they were inspired to push their technology even further and developed their new Delineated Weave and DoubleBack shielding cable topologies, both implemented in the 6.2 design.
The Level 6.2 Absolute Signature Analog RCA Interconnects are available at US$420 for a 0.5m pair, US$495 for a 0.75m pair, and US$570 for a 1m pair. Other lengths are available at $150 per pair for each additional 0.5m increase in length. They are in stock now at the company’s online store and include a no–risk, 30 day guarantee.
