Steljes Audio, a new division of UK-based Steljes Ltd, launched its debut line of smart audio products, a trio of powered stereo loudspeaker systems; a pair of soundbars; a brace of digital radios; a streaming adapter; and a stereo amplifier.
A division of Steljes Ltd, the AV technology company set up in 1987 by British entrepreneur Nigel Steljes, Steljes Audio fuses the dynamism and passion of a start-up with the experience and backing of global player. According to the press release, the new division comes of age with its 2016 collection, comprising products designed and manufactured by a hugely experienced team, armed with first-hand knowledge of what matters most to the end-user. Nine models make up Steljes Audio’s first offering: a trio of powered stereo speaker systems; a pair of soundbars; a brace of digital radios; a streaming adapter; and a stereo amplifier.
The NS1, NS3, and NS6 powered stereo speaker systems aim to serve a growing phenomenon – the smartphone-based home Hi-Fi system. Equipped with built-in amplification and Bluetooth technology, the NS1 and NS3 desktop models are available in eight smart finishes, with the NS6 floorstander offered in bamboo as standard and additional colors available to order.
The Steljes Audio SA20 and SA60 radios come in sleekly curved cabinets and both offer DAB, DAB+, and FM, as well as Bluetooth and aux-in connectivity. The SA60 adds Wi-Fi streaming and Spotify Connect to the feature list and, also, delivers UNDOK, the affordable App-based multi-room feature backed by FrontierSilicon and Steljes Audio. Both radios include clock and alarm functions alongside a built-in rechargeable battery, which is good for up to ten hours mains-free replay. For those looking to extend streaming and UNDOK convenience throughout the home, the Steljes Audio MS2 music streamer could be plugged-in into any existing compatible audio device and access over 20,000 internet radio stations, Spotify Connect and the ability to independently control rooms via the UNDOK App.
The Calliope and Erato soundbars both instantly deal with the issue of poor sound from slim-screen TVs, adding smart looks and Bluetooth streaming to the mix and boasting HDMI ARC-compatibility. Erato’s wireless subwoofer adds even more bass, if needed.
Last but not least, Steljes Audio unveiled a stereo amplifier, the ML30 a tube-based design which features Bluetooth streaming technology and, also, includes an MM phono input and a 24bit/96kHz capable USB DAC.
