Based upon the experience LAB12 gained from the design process of their quite successful Gordian, but clearly more simple and at a more affordable price range, Noyra is a good first step one can take to upgrade the quality of the power fed in his system.
Noyra is the combination of a high quality, high amperage power strip with a series of filters that are designed to reduce noise from the power network. The user has at his disposal a total of six industrial grade plugs, of which the four include LAB12's most efficient filters (a combination of differential and common mode filter networks), while the other two, use moderate filtering. The first group is intended to use with noise-sensitive devices, while the second is intended for high-power devices, such as power amplifiers. All Noyra's outputs are protected against overvoltage transients.
Internal wiring features large cross-section OFC conductors, and a star connection topology is applied not only to the ground network but also on the live and and the neutral networks, to avoid current loops.
Noyra's chassis is made of 5mm thick aluminum, and the device is suitable for placement on a shelf, easily accommodated in a standard Hi-Fi rack, and is highly immune to vibration. Power inlet is through a C14 IEC connector (featuring OFC contacts) and Noyra has a heavy-duty main switch for activation. Total power capacity is 3.5kW.
