Primare recently announced immediate availability of their I35, CD35 and DD35 Prisma products, while I15, SC15, CD15 and I25 Prisma are to be expected during Summer 2018.
I25 Prisma is an integrated digital and analog music system, control center and amplifier which joins the I35 Prisma as the first to use the new UFPD 2 power system, a radical reworking of Primare’s award-winning UFPD all-analog Class-D technology, providing 100 watts into 8 ohms. In addition, the I25 Prisma includes a full-featured DAC stage, as well as Prisma connectivity and control technology. Also available is the I25, without DAC or Prisma modules, as well as the I25 DAC, with DAC but without Prisma module. In either case, both the DAC and Prisma modules can be added at a later date to meet changing system requirements.
DD35 is a dedicated CD transport, designed to partner the Primare I25 DAC, I25 Prisma, I35 DAC, I35 Prisma, PRE35 DAC, and PRE35 Prisma models of integrated amplifiers and preamplifiers.
SC15 Prisma is a full-featured preamplifier and network player featuring WiSA wireless loudspeaker connection technology. With the option of variable or fixed output it can be paired with a pair of powered speakers for a compact digital music system; or in fixed output mode it serves as a stored or streamed digital music source for a more complex system.
CD15 Prisma is an integrated digital music source, combining compact disc and stored or streamed media playback, while DD15 is a slot loading dedicated CD transport, designed to partner the Primare I15 Prisma, SC15 Prisma models of integrated amplifiers and preamplifiers.
The company, also announced that currently the Prisma App is available for tablets only (a release for smart phones is scheduled for a later time). The iOS Prisma app is available from the App Store now, with Android app to be available from Google Play soon. AirPlay service will be provided by a later update and the same holds for the gap-less playback functionality.
