During the recent CPH HighEnd Show in Copenhagen, Wharfedale unveiled their first true wireless in-ear headphones, the WPod. According to the press release, WPods are true wireless stereo in-ear headphones that offer truly cable-free personal music experience and feature a carefully tuned DSP for riveting bass and pristine musical transparency, Bluetooth 5.0 technology for ultra-stable operation and intuitive touch-sensitive controls for Play, Pause and Skip operations.
Perfect for the active lifestyle, the WPod is not only lightweight (each earbud weights only 5g), but, also, discreet and extremely comfortable. WPods are also IPX4 rated for a splash-proof and sweat-proof operation.
The handy compact carry case recharges the WPods each time they are returned to it. Total playback time is 16 hours, with 4 hours of continuous music playback per charge-cycle and a total of 12 hours auto-recharging. Quick charge is 30 minutes for the headphones and 2 hours for the case.
MPod offers hands-free operation through an integrated microphone and one-touch call answering and is available in matte white or matte black finishes.
