The integrated amplifier I-70 from French company Jadis Electronics is a culmination of modern design and refined technical architecture, coinciding with the arrival of the new KT17 tubes.
According to the details published, the amplifier is not only designed in the pure tradition of point to point wiring and hand made transformer, but it is the first to integrate several features from Jadis monoblock technology. From the power supply point of view, power stage has a full separated supply from the driver circuit and this means that one is not influenced by the other. Regulated filament voltage eliminates noise induction while the massive power transformer has been designed to allow for top power specs during dynamic music passages. Due to its fully new designed output transformer, I-70 works in a single push-pull ultra linear configuration featuring two KT170 tubes per channel with auto-biasing, yielding 50w per channel. The amplifier features 5 line level inputs.
