Musical Fidelity drops another milestone. The M6x DAC incorporates the newest Sabre ESS chips – one for each channel to compliment the dual mono design front to back. The detailed transient response is due to the Time Domain Jitter Eliminator. Both outputs – the RCA and balanced XLR have their own output buffers. The output stages offer superior audio quality due to ultra low noise, large output voltage and high current drive. The broad gain bandwidth and lightning fast slew rate result in exceptionally low distortion, the company says.
The M6x DAC employs MF's Super Silent Power Transformers. The industrial-grade power sockets with EMI filter and DC blocker stop interferences and eliminate transformer hum. The result, according to the press release, is extremely low electromagnetic radiation.

Connectivity includes 4 standard digital inputs (one coaxial, two optical and one AES/EBU, all capable of 24/192 PCM/MQA streaming) and one USB-B v2.0 port, capable of up to 32/768 for PCM/MQA streams, DSD256 for DSD/DoP streams and DSD512 for native DSD streams. Analog outputs come both in single ended and balanced lines and a headphone output (TRS, 6,35mm) is also included.
The built-in headphone amplifier delivers 1.5W/32 Ohm and offers wide bandwidth, extremely low noise, and high dynamic range, while the solid casework is uncompromisingly rigid. That not only makes the M6x DAC pretty to look at but also protects the circuitry from electromagnetic fields.
