Created with the base DNA of the flagship Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 eARC, both models come with Spatial Surround Elevation (SSE) MAX technology, upgraded speaker drivers and amplifier hardware, eARC connectivity, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby Vision and Qualcomm aptX HD.
Nakamichi partnered with existing Shockwafe SSE owners to develop its 2022 Shockwafe lineup, leading with the flagship launch of the Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 eARC back in March. Now, the release of the Pro 7.1 eARC and Elite 7.2 eARC completes the line-up, bringing all desirable upgrades at various price points to the consumer market, the company says.
According to the press release, the Shockwafe Pro 7.1 eARC delivers unparalleled wall-shaking bass from a fully boosted 10-inch high output subwoofer, with a peak power output of up to 300W, effortlessly delivering bass notes as low as 30Hz. The Shockwafe Pro 7.1 eARC features high output amplifiers capable of delivering up to 850W of total system power, while the custom designed extended range twin-cone drivers and silk dome tweeters deliver true 360-degree cinema surround with full-bodied dialog. Taking inspiration from the multiple subwoofers configuration popularized by cinemas, the Shockwafe 7.2 eARC comes with dual 8-inch high output drivers, going down to as low as 25Hz. Like its smaller cousin, the Shockwafe Elite 7.2 eARC comes with upgraded custom designed extended range twin-cone drivers and silk dome tweeters and it is capable of up to 110dB of breathtaking cinema sound.
