The well-known manufacturer announced, at the beginning of last summer, the BerTTi, a power amplifier designed for systems based on Chord's TT (Table Top) series devices which utilizes the Ultima technology from the company's top models.
The BerTTi is a fully balanced design, with a power stage based on MOSFET semiconductors and uses feed-forward topology to minimize errors. It is the successor to the TToby and delivers 75W per channel.
The amplifier is based on two power supplies and uses a separate input stage power supply. It features both single-ended and balanced inputs, and the connection to the loudspeakers is made through gold-plated terminals.
The chassis follows Chord's familiar design and is constructed from a single piece of aluminum. Its weight is under 4kg.
