The DNP-2000NE is a state-of-the-art music player that delivers superior sound quality and versatile connectivity, Denon says. It is designed to pair perfectly with the PMA-1700NE amplifier, but as well with amplifiers released in the former years like PMA-2500NE and PMA-1600NE or any Hi-Fi system in the need of a high quality audio streamer.
The device is not only available in Black and Premium Silver, but in Graphite Silver as well, so current owners of a PMA-A110 and DCD-A110 Anniversary model can add a matching digital media player to their system.
The DNP-2000NE features HEOS integration, which allows users to stream music wirelessly from their favorite online services such as Spotify, Tidal, Amazon Music, and others. The HEOS app also enables users to easily manage their local music library and create playlists.
The DNP-2000NE is equipped with Denon's Advanced AL32 Processing Plus supporting up-sampling to 384kHz and bit-extension to 32-bit for the closest reconstruction of the original signal. The player also features four high-precision 32-bit/384kHz ES9018K2M digital-to-analogue converters. Configured in a double-differential-mode derived from the flagship DCD-A110, it delivers clear and detailed sound. All is synchronized perfectly by the Denon Master Clock design, which doesn’t allow any divergence of clock signal crucial for a high fidelity reproduction. On top, the DNP-2000NE’s analogue and digital circuit boards are isolated from each other to protect the analogue circuit from interference and noise of the digital section.
The DNP-2000NE offers a variety of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB, and Bluetooth. It also supports AirPlay2 for seamless wireless streaming of music from compatible devices. Additionally, the player is equipped with HDMI ARC, two optical and one coaxial digital inputs, as well as a USB-B input for native music streaming directly from a computer. The Bluetooth transmission functionality allows to stream the audio signal to a Bluetooth capable headphone.
The media player also features HDMI ARC connectivity to directly connect your TV sound to the Hi-Fi system and, for convenience, CEC is supported so the connected compatible Denon amplifier or the variable output of the DNP-2000NE can be controlled by the TV remote handset.
