Stereo 70s combines the technologies found in full-size surround sound home theaters, including audio streaming, Phono and FM/DAB+ radio with the simplicity and elegance of a two-channel stereo system and the warmth, spaciousness, and detail characteristic of Marantz. Now, the company says, you can enter a world of exquisite sound and elevated enjoyment of all your home entertainment sources without overwhelming your room with surround speakers.
The new device features six HDMI inputs (three 8K) plus one output (supporting ARC), while at only 11cm tall, it is half the height of traditional components. Connectivity also includes a phono (MM) input, 3 line-level inputs, a set of standard S/PDIF digital inputs (coaxial and optical), Ethernet port and preamp and two sub outputs. There is, also an AM/FM tuner.
The fully discrete stereo amplifier built-in and the Marantz proprietary HDAM circuitry produces clear, detailed, warm, spacious, and dynamic sound from any source and yields up to 75W per channel. The device is compatible with the HEOS ecosystem and AirPlay2 and allows access to your favorite streaming music through Spotify.
