The MaiA DS3 is Pro-Ject's answer to those looking for a versatile integrated amplifier with plenty of power that will cover all their connectivity needs. Don’t let the size fool you. This amp will power speakers with ease and rock even hard to drive headphones.
The MaiA DS3 boasts nine inputs. The built in phono preamp can handle both MM and MC cartridges. For digital sources the amp has a coax S/PDIF, two optical S/PDIF and an USB input for the high quality on-board DAC. There is, also, a Bluetooth aptX HD streaming capability. Three additional line inputs are available for standard analog sources.
The amplifier section yields 140W of power per channel into 4 ohms and offers a dedicated subwoofer output. For multiroom applications and music throughout the house – or even outside, the MaiA DS3 has one fixed- and, one variable pair of RCA jacks. The built in headphone amp has a 6.3mm socket.
The full metal casework is a delight to touch and look at in black or silver. The new MaiA DS3 is carefully designed and handmade in Europe.
