Hegel's latest creation, the H190v, continues the tradition of designing exceptional integrated amplifiers with a new version of the classic H190 amplifier.
With the fitting nickname “More Music”, the H190v takes the brand's best-selling amplifier of all time to new heights, offering a combination of power, finesse, and flexibility, the company says. The H190v is designed for music lovers looking for an all-in-one solution without compromise. Precision-built with minimalist elegance, the H190v is housed in a compact steel chassis with an aluminum front panel and source and volume knobs. Available in black and white, the amplifier is designed to complement any interior aesthetic.
Underneath its minimalist exterior, though, the H190v is packed with advanced features. Yielding 150W of power at 8 Ohm loads and featuring a class AB power stage, a damping factor of 4000, and a large toroidal transformer, combined with high-quality output transistors, the amplifier delivers both power and precision. A dedicated and upgraded power supply for the preamp and DAC sections creates a low-noise background, ensuring the focus stays on the music, where every nuance is delivered with accuracy and control, Hegel states.
The new amp features a state-of-the-art phono preamp, based on the highly acclaimed V10 phono preamp, but without its flexible adjustment settings, for vinyl lovers, while, for those who appreciate personal listening experiences, the H190v comes with a 6.3mm headphone output and a high-quality headphone amplifier.
