With its connected active speakers, the Capella system offers unprecedented performance by combining the acoustic of Triangle with modern technologies. Made in France, the speakers feature top-of-the-range finishes, with a varnished wooden enclosure and aluminum elements. Each driver has its own amplifier for a total power of 2x100W for the pair of speakers. The DSP linearizes the speaker’s frequency response, while ensuring permanent control of the driver. The Capella feature a groundbreaking technology that automatically calibrates the sound in relation to the room, for a balanced sound, perfectly adapted to your listening room.
Bluetooth and Wi-Fi compatible (Airplay, Chromecast, UPnP/DLNA, Room Ready), the speakers communicate wirelessly with the “Stereo Hub”, a compact, remote box using WiSA technology. All your audio sources (TV/ARC, USB, Optical, RCA) are centralized on the Hub.
For a fast, dynamic, and precise sound, the Capella use a horn-loaded tweeter with a magnesium dome, and a 16cm midrange/bass in cellulose pulp, based on Triangle's research carried out on the Esprit 40th range.
The Capella system includes a pair of active bookshelf speakers, a hub, two protection grilles, a remote control and power cables for a turnkey, ready-to-use package. Available as options are the S05 speaker stands, the ZEN calibration microphone, and the Lunar 3 pre-amplified turntable.
The Lunar 3, designed and built by Pro-Ject Audio, is designed to bring out all the magic of your 33/45 rpm records, without having to compromise, the company says. It features a phono preamplifier enabling direct connection to the Stereo Hub. All materials, from the wooden structure and steel platter to the carbon tonearm and the Ortofon 2M Red cartridge, have been carefully selected to ensure accurate playback and to absorb any vibrations that might alter the sound, Triangle stated.
Capella is available in 4 finishes: Brown Nebula, Asrtal Blue, Black Star and Space White.
