WiiM Ultra delivers hi-res, lossless quality, while enabling multi-room functionality and connectivity to active speakers, home theatre setups or vintage record playerd and effortlessly stream a music collection directly from a preferred music app or by using voice commands.
The new device features an aluminum chassis, a 3.5-inch full-color touchscreen, a physical volume knob, and a rich selection of audio inputs and outputs, while it can seamlessly integrate with popular streaming services and supports multiple audio formats.
WiiM Ultra makes use of a premium ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC chip and features the latest Wi-Fi 6E and BT 5.3 wireless technologies via its two antennae, while through the touchscreen, a user gets access to App widgets, large album artwork graphics, playback information, presets and customization options, input selection, and device set-up features.
Connectivity includes HDMI ARC, Line In, Phono In, and Optical Inputs, along with Line Out, Optical, Coaxial, USB, Subwoofer, and a dedicated headphone output. There is, also, a built-in room correction algorithm, based on acoustic measurements of the room, to produce customized corrections for the loudspeakers.
