Known for its precision and clarity in the professional world, Hedd has now tailored their signature Air Motion Transformer (AMT) technology for audiophile enjoyment, with the HEDDphone TWO GT, a reiteration of the HEDDphone TWO, based on feedback from the audiophile community.
While the original HEDDphone TWO was designed with audio engineers and producers in mind, the HEDDphone TWO GT offers a more forgiving sound profile, by blending the analytical clarity of the HEDDphone TWO with a warmer midrange and an extended low end, to achieve a more immersive and enjoyable listening experience, the company states.
According to the press release, Hedd Audio is no stranger to groundbreaking innovation. Founded by Klaus Heinz, a pioneer in loudspeaker design, the company continues to push the boundaries of audio technology. The HEDDphone TWO GT is a reflection of this legacy, combining advanced AMT driver technology with premium materials and craftsmanship.
The magnesium and carbon fiber construction provide a lightweight yet sturdy frame that can handle the demands of everyday listening. The ear pads, available in velour or sheep leather, are both durable and replaceable, ensuring that your headphones remain comfortable and functional over time.
The new model comes equipped with an unbalanced cable with a 6.35mm TRS termination and a balanced cable with a 4.4mm TRRS termination. Additionally, adapters are included for both 3.5mm and XLR connections, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices.
According to the details published, Hedd's Air Motion Transformer (AMT) driver, features a multi-layered Kapton diaphragm that is over three times larger than those found in traditional planar or dynamic headphones. This advanced driver technology, combined with HEDD?s Variable Velocity Transform (VVT), allows for ultra-low distortion across the audio spectrum from 10Hz to 40kHz, Hedd says.
Head offers an optional GTC Premium upgrade cable with a lower impedance and high purity LC-OFC cable featuring no less than 760 strands.
