The SourcePoint V10 Master Edition is a ground-up evolution of MoFi's SourcePoint 10 platform. Andrew Jones has added twin 10-inch woofers and dual rear-firing passive radiators to offload deep bass, freeing the concentric driver to focus on midrange and treble. The result is thunderous low-end extension, lifelike vocal presence, and crystal-clear highs. SourcePoint V10 Master Edition is housed in a resonance-free, multi-chambered cabinet.
Ten meticulously crafted 10-inch drivers (five in each cabinet) work in perfect harmony to deliver the V10’s signature blend of scale, speed, and precision, MoFi states. Each speaker houses a concentric midrange/tweeter, twin woofers, and rear-firing dual passive radiators, ensuring every part of the spectrum is handled by a dedicated element. The two passive radiators reinforce low frequencies down to 27Hz allowing the woofers to operate in an optimal range—dramatically reducing strain and preserving clarity.
According to the information available, at the heart of the V10 Master Edition lies a precision-built, user-tunable crossover network. It is engineered with polypropylene film capacitors, metalized-film resistors, and air-core inductors for ultra-low distortion. On-board switches let you dial in the treble level to suit your room’s acoustics and listening preferences, while precise phase alignment ensures seamless hand-off between woofers, midrange, and tweeter.
Intricately engineered, multi-faceted, baffle, uses strategically angled planes around each driver to tame edge diffraction and unwanted reflections.
The fabric-wrapped grilles attach magnetically and are perfectly form-fitting to retain the profile of the distinguished multi-faceted baffle. For the highest performance, though, MoFi recommends removing the grilles while listening.
The loudspeaker is available in genuine Walnut or Black Ash real-wood veneer finishes—book-matched and sealed with a durable satin clear coat to showcase the natural rain.
