Show Report: EMT-HiFiMAN

EMT presented their second edition of the phono preamplifier JPA-66 …

… as well as the JSD-S75 cartridge.

The new and improved version of The Monica, the preamplifier from Engstrom&Engstrom.

Enigmacoustics presented two new products. The Athena A1 headphone amplifier with a class A output stage and a 6CA4 tube-based preamp stage…

… and the Dhamra D1000 headphones featuring an electrostatic diaphragm for the highs and a classic, dynamic 50mm driver for low frequencies.

Entotem's Plato is a media server with a 2TB hard disk, suitable for digitization, ripping, store and playback audio and video files. Plus. It supports streaming. It is based on Android.

Esoteric showed its new, top, preamplifier. It is the C1 and belongs to the Grandioso series.

After this year's impressive presentation at CES, Estelon showed their Extreme at Munich, too.

Tube-based amp, featuring KT88s, from Eternity Jo. The model is the ET3-KT88.

Final unveiled their top model in Sonorous series, called “X”. The metal parts are made of aluminum and stainless steel, while the 50mm diaphragm (integrated into each capsule) is made of titanium.

Oyaide unveiled a new type of cable, code-named 102SSC. Each branch consists of three different cross-section conductors made by very pure copper that has been treated under extremely strict conditions.

Focal, among other things, showed this small satellite loudspeaker, the Dome Flax …

… but the company also unveiled a new series of loudspeakers, the Sopra, which will include both floorstanding and stand-mounted models.

For the visitors with an inclination towards Pro Audio, Focal also displayed the Trio6 Be for use in the studio environment.
