Show Report: Townshend-Yamamura

Townshend displayed the Podium isolation platform, specially designed loudspeakers.

The top of the TP Tube's soundbars. Named TP200 and can also be used as a wireless loudspeaker for streaming via personal media players.

The 925 is a hybrid integrated amplifier from Trilogy. It includes a tube-based input stage (class A, without feedback with 6N6P) while its power stage is an adaptive design based on a bipolar/MOSFET device combination.

Trinnov demonstrated their top preamplifier/processor, the Amethyst.

Professional quality in-ears from the Ultrasone. The model is the IQ Pro.

The company also displayed the Performance 880, the top model in Performance series which is based on a titanium plated diaphragm.

After CES, Vandersteen's Model Seven Mk II was presented to the European public.

Vandersteen also presented this (liquid cooled) monoblock amplifier (M7-HPA) that seems very ambitious although not yet in production/distribution phase.

The impressive Amadis from Verity Audio, with the recognizable cabinet architecture that includes a separate head unit for mid/high drivers and a bass enclosure.

HPA V281 from Violectric is a headphone amplifier adapted to the needs of the user. There is a selection between two different volume controls and six digital input configurations.

While continuing to surprise headphones connoisseurs around the world with their top amplifier Egoista, ViVA also presented a smaller model which they called 2A3.

Pre1 Ultimate Trio from Wadax and is a top DAC/Preamplifier with streaming capacity which can also accept MM/MC phono modules.




Compact monitor by Well Rounded Sound. Called RDM 2 (Reference Desktop Monitor) and is based on an A.T.M tweeter.

The British WestminsterLab presented Clock Sync, a cable especially designed for the transmission of clock signals between devices.

Wilson Audio has presented yet another new model. Called Sabrina, it is inspired by the relatively small first WATT/Puppy and based upon the company's experience from the design of their top Alexandria XLF.

Wilson Benesch demonstrated their Endeavour stand mounted loudspeaker.

The xo|one is a music server from x-odos based on a solid state hard disk. The user can choose between 1 and 2TB discs and the product can perform CD ripping, and streaming through the home network while controlled by iOS or Android devices.

Yamamura/Crawley exhibited a new series of devices, called the YC. It includes a music server, an interface for digital sources (with USB, Ethernet and HDMI ports) and a DAC.
