Show Report (Part 1): 3D Lab - Audel

Universal player from 3D Lab. The Drive is compatible with all optical discs from CD to Blu-ray (and capable of 3D playback). It can also access USB Flash drives and conventional hard drives via eSATA.

In honor of the French engineer Charlin, the Roboli Design presented this line of products that includes an amplifier, an atomic clock generator, power conditioner and cables.

Absolare's Passion uses two 845s and delivers 50W in class A.




A system based on Reference series from Accustic Arts that includes transport, DAC and preamplifier.

Acoustic Signature's Novum uses a new platter driven be three synchronous electronically controlled motors. Supports up to two tonearms.

The Licentiate is a large floorstanding speaker from Albedo, a three-way, transmission line design that uses ceramic drivers and 1st acoustic order crossovers.

The PA-40 Reference S3 from AM Audio is a class A integrated amplifier that delivers 40W/8Ohm and 75W/4Ohm through a MOSFET power stage.

Single ended monoblocks from Amati. The DHT 845 are obviously based on 845 power tubes to deliver 60W of power.

Apart from the tube amps, Amati displayed this loudspeaker. It is an active design capable of wireless streaming.

This is an interesting small loudspeaker from a company called Ambitious. This model is Ambitious 1.



The CVT3100 from AMC is an integrated amplifier based on the good old “a la NAD” aesthetics this company is known for.

The DDH-1 is a small model DAC/headphone amplifier from AMI Musik. It offers standard digital inputs and up to 24/96 streaming via USB as well.

Isis integrated amp from Analog Domain uses company's Excalibur circuit and is available in two versions, each with different level attenuation method (stepped and linear). There is also a power amplifier version. Power output is 250W/8Ohm.

The impressive Quantuum power amp from Angstrom Research. It is a monoblock class A design.

Edena from Apertura is a rather small floorstander featuring a ribbon tweeter and an 8-inch polypropylene mesh woofer.

Aria's audio server includes an optical drive for automatic ripping and can support conventional hard drives up to 4TB and solid state drives up to 2TB as well. It is controlled via an iOS application and supports resolutions up to 32/384 (also DSD).

Exoteryc is an impressive rack from Artesania Audio.

The D7 is the smallest loudspeaker speaker in the new "D" series from Ascendo. The design includes a coaxial driver for the highs/mids, two woofers for bass and a tweeter in the back to improve the reverberant field.

One of the most talked about media players, the Astell & Kern proved to be a show stopper. Here is the AK240 model.



The latest version of Atma-Sphere's MA-1.

Media player/streamer from Atoll. The ST200 supports all common formats (including FLAC/WAV up to 24/192) could be connected to the home network, has USB ports and conventional digital inputs. The DAC uses the PCM1792 chip.

Art Series from Audel. Interesting aesthetic suggestion, no doubt.
